LUCHADORES MATCH

  "Luchadores Match!!!" brought to you by The Bull
Friday, October 17th, 2008 at 7pm
art.les.nyc studios and The Bull are pleased to present, "Luchadores Match!!!",
a Mexican style wrestling event with female and male wrestlers hailing from NYC
improv and performance art backgrounds.
"Luchadores Match!!!" will feature a smack-down fight between Our
Lady of Perpetual PMS and Hilla the Killa Gringa, two wrestlers
brought to you by: GLOB (The Gorgeous Ladies of Blood wrestling)
is sports-satire style women's wrestling, w/ridiculous story
lines brought to life in (stage) blood and set to punk rock. We are
an extension of the punk scene and our mission is wrestle is preserve
the DIY/punk/art/performance scene of NYC. GLOB also promotes and
encourages women-founded events and their ideas.
FREE TAMALES will be
given out during the match!!! All proceeds from "Luchadores Match!!!" go to The Bull,
an entertainment group dedicated to making and promoting theater through
and for the downtown nightlife scene, and their upcoming production of
Fool for Love, a play by Sam Shepard.
As usual at art.les.nyc studios, The Tiki Bar located in the Jamaican
Lounge will be full stocked with Grog-n-Scrod Sangria and a selection
of beers and water for a humble suggested donation price.
